Denver Hostels Green Energy Project
Client: Gauteng Department of Human Settlement
Area: Johannesburg, Gauteng
DNA Land Use Consultants was appointed to assess existing energy
requirements, determine the available energy supply and capacity,
outline the gaps between the requirements, available supply and
capacity and assess the risks associated with the continued energy
security of the hostels. In addition, to propose, design and document
alternative energy solutions for PV, water heating, external lighting,
internal lighting, and internal food preparation.

We concluded the Bulk of Quantity for the Inner-City Hostels, as well as drafting a five-year maintenance plan and assessment of proposal for six inner city hostels in Johannesburg, namely:

Northern Cape Schools – Branvlei Hoerskool

We successfully completed five classrooms, a media centre, a large
ablution facilities as well as a large administration block

Northern Cape Schools – Kalahari Hoerskool
Client: Northern Cape Department of Education

Project Completed: September 2021
We were appointed to complete ten classrooms and one large ablution facilities in the Kuruman area in Northern Cape.

Upgrading of Wastewater Treatment

We successfully completed the undertaken works of upgrading the
Waste Water Treatment Works in the Burgersfort area under the Greater Tubatse Local Municipality

Mooiplats & Langkuil PTN47-363IR Informal Settlements
Client: City of Tshwane

Project Completed: 12 February 2020
For the Mooiplats and Langkuil Informal settlements, we conducted a dolomite stability study and Geotechnological investigations such as geology and soil profile distribution, geohydrology and preliminary
foundation design recommendations.

Piggery Structures
Client: Department of Agriculture and Rural Development

We were involved in the design and project management development of a Piggery structure for the Department. This included the implementation of infrastructural projects which included inter alia the review drawings, Bulk of Quantities and signoff of the provided documents, construction and equipment of 21 sow and 50 sow piggery structures in the agricultural areas within the Gauteng Province

Construction of a New Hospital Pharmacy and Mortuary and Upgrades of Various Clinics

The Department appointed us as professional Electrical Engineers for the construction of a new pharmacy and mortuary at the Springbok hospital, in addition to Upgrading of clinics in Vioolsdrift, Lerato Park, Kuboes, Welkom and Alexander Bay

We were assigned a project requiring a panel of professional service
providers appointed to provide Mkhondo Municipality with the required capacity of Town and urban renewal.

Socio-Economic Survey in Evaton

DNA Consultants were contracted by Emfuleni Local Municipality to
provide socio-economic survey for design, construction, monitoring and supervision for Evaton, in the Sedibeng area.
